Nadia Donato

A native New Yorker, Nadia Donato has been in the NYC hospitality and event planning industry for over twenty years. She has planned thousands of events for celebrities, world leaders, Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations and wedding couples. Nadia's creative background, combined with her culinary expertise and banquet experience is very rare for event planners.
From visual arts to hospitality career
In her younger years, Nadia’s goal was to follow in her father's footsteps in the advertising world and one day become an award-winning Creative Director herself. However, while attending the School of Visual Arts after college at SUNY Oneonta, her hotelier mother got her summer jobs at The Peninsula NY and Golden Tulip Hotel chains. From this work exposure and related travels grew strong fascination for Events Planning and Management, and Nadia veered to a career in Hospitality.
Nadia started her career at Ian Schrager Hotels where she was in charge of all VIP celebrity accounts at the hip and trendy Royalton. She then handled Catering Sales & Event Management work at premier Manhattan venues, such as the Stanhope, Roosevelt and InterContinental hotels, as well as the five-star landmark 21 Club and at the prestigious Columbia University.

Besides her expedient visual design, project management, and marketing background, it can be said that the X factor in Nadia’s bold success as Events Manager is her outgoing personality and her insatiable interest in various cultures. Nadia is known for her strong sense of style, creativity, attention to detail, and staunch advocacies (for both her clients and the causes she believes in). Nadia has been quoted in the New York Times, New York Magazine, Facilities, Manhattan Bride, and Venue.
